TELEHOUSE ISTANBUL provides global services to its corporate customers with TEKNOTEL‘s International Connection Support. TEKNOTEL traffic is managed by SEA-ME-WE 5 submarine cable system.
SEA-ME-WE 5 (SMW5) is a 20.000 km submarine cable system with 17 countries connected from Singapore to the Middle East, Western Europe to France and Italy with a total system capacity of 24 Tbps.
This undersea cable system is all around the world; Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, France, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Republic of Djibouti, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Yemen.
The submarine fiber optic networks run 100 Gbps wavelengths with a total system capacity of 24 Tbps over three fiber pairs. There is an additional option in the Marmaris route to extend the SMW5 capacity to Istanbul. This will be the next major data center in Eurasia.
By this connection, the customers of TELEHOUSE ISTANBUL are not affected by the interruptions locally and globally.
